Before you proceed with a pre-order of an item please read this FAQ.
Credit Card Authorization: When you place a pre-order, we will only authorize your credit card. This authorization ensures that the necessary funds are available for your purchase. It is important to note that the authorization is not a charge or payment. It simply verifies the validity and availability of funds on your card. We will charge your card as soon as your pre-ordered item is ready to ship.
Chronological Order: Placing a pre-order puts you in line chronologically based on the date and time of your order. We process pre-orders in the order they were received, ensuring fairness and transparency.
If you currently have an order with Camera West or Leica Store San Francisco please contact the associate you worked with for updates concerning your pre-order. Orders made through different Camera West associated outlets will be combined to one order, but for the sake of keeping our communication pathways clear we request you stay in contact with the team member you originally contacted about your pre-order if you have done so already.
Confirmation of Shipment: Once the camera you pre-ordered arrives, we will authorize your credit card again and contact you to confirm the shipment details as well as anything else you might need. At this point, your card will be charged for the actual purchase amount, and your order will be prepared for delivery.
